After nearly two years of anticipation, the 2025 Ryder Cup is set to take place at New York's Bethpage Black. But as with many golf events, the elements may cause the wait to be slightly longer.
While golfers aren't set to begin competing until Friday, Sept. 26, a rainy Thursday forecast in Farmingdale, N.Y., has placed a literal and metaphorical cloud over the three-day proceedings.
While Thursday's precipitation is mostly isolated, there is a chance it carries over into Friday morning. Should the rain persist at a high volume, there could be an impact on the competition itself.
