These guys aren't just good, they're Players.
The 2023 Players Championship gets underway Thursday, and the loaded field features heavy hitters as well as upstarts looking to make a name — and cash a big check.
World No. 1 golfer Jon Rahm entered first-round play as the tournament favorite. Rahm has yet to win the Players Championship in his career. His highest finish came in 2009, when he tied for ninth. Last year's event was especially unforgiving; he finished tied for 55th.
Rahm is coming off a forgettable weekend at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but he won the Genesis Invitational just over two weeks ago. Rahm's fourth PGA Tour win of the season would be his best yet. (UPDATE: Rahm withdrew from the tournament Friday because of illness.)

What channel is the Players Championship on today?
- Round 3: Sunday, March 12

NBC will be carry the main feed of Round 4 of the Players Championship on Sunday from 1-6 p.m. ET.
For those who want to live stream the round, there are multiple options. FuboTV, which carries NBC and Golf Channel, will be carrying TV covering of the Players Championship all four days. FuboTV also offers a free trial.
PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will be live streaming the event as well, with a number of different feeds focusing on different featured groups and featured holes Thursday.
