Jordan Spieth hits scary shot into crowd, miraculously saves par at the Memorial image

Still seeking his first professional win since 2022, Jordan Spieth has had a strong performance at the Memorial — at least in the big picture of things.

The former world No. 1 and three-time major winner continued tracking toward a top-10 finish at the event in Dublin, Ohio.

However, Spieth did have some rough holes, including a swing that resulted in him nearly hitting a fan with the ball — but that was before he was able to save par.

Did Jordan Spieth hit a spectator?

Spieth did not actually hit any spectators despite coming very close at the Memorial. In fact, the near-accident wound up working out excellently for the golfer; he turned the hole into a par after being all over the course and coming within inches of striking a fan with a ball.

Spieth downed a long putt on the Par 4 to maintain his status as one of the leaders at the tournament.
