Today's Daily Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Best starting pitchers, streamers for Monday, May 20 image

With 10 games -- one of which is in the afternoon and one that starts at 6:10 p.m. ET -- the pitching options are somewhat limited on daily fantasy baseball main slates on Monday, but our SP rankings are still strong. In fact, it's tough to find legit value sleepers on either FanDuel or DraftKings, as there aren't many pricing breaks.

The best value on FanDuel is probably Brad Peacock (vs. White Sox). He's been up and down this year, but overall he's been more good than bad. He has a fairly neutral matchup and checks in as the SP11 in all-day contests. On DraftKings, either J.A. Happ (@ Orioles) or Luke Weaver (vs. Padres) seems like the best value. Happ doesn't have the strikeout upside and is pitching in a poor park, but you have to like his chances at a win and solid performance. Weaver, who's a little more expensive, gets a nice park upgrade and could be a lightly owned as more people opt for his opponent, Chris Paddack (vs. Diamondbacks)

As far as fades, Jake Odorizzi (@ Angels) and Jake Arrieta (@ Cubs) have tough matchups on paper. Yu Darvish (vs. Phillies) is also tough to trust given his poor performance this year and relatively high price. His last outing was by far his best of the season (no walks, 11 Ks vs. Cincinnati), but he still only lasted 5.1 innings. Sure, there's strikeout upside, but he just doesn't seem worth the price, especially on FanDuel where quality starts are so valuable.

Things look all clear on the weather front, but check with the Fantasy Alarm Weather Center closer to lineup lock.

wRC+ is defined by Fangraphs as "[measuring] how a player’s wRC compares with league average after controlling for park effects. League average for position players is 100, and every point above 100 is a percentage point above league average. For example, a 125 wRC+ means a player created 25% more runs than a league average hitter would have in the same number of plate appearances. Similarly, every point below 100 is a percentage point below league average, so a 80 wRC+ means a player created 20% fewer runs than league average." For more on the stat, click here.
