While it's not December, when we have to worry about the whiteouts at Lambeau Field, keeping an eye on the weather every week is a great strategy for fantasy football.
The NFL Week 1 slate has plenty of wind and rain to keep an eye on. While weather should not be the reason you bench an elite player, it can certainly be a tie-breaker between two options.
Read for our take on whether NFL weather could affect fantasy football lineup decisions for Week 1.
Note: If a game isn't discussed, it's because it doesn't even have 10-mph winds, a 20% chance of precipitation, or extreme temperatures in the forecast according to NFLWeather.

NFL weather forecast: Week 1 fantasy updates
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles
There is a 33% chance of rain in Philadelphia at the time the game is supposed to kick off. This could result in slippery field conditions, which is always notable. This should not impact any of your fantasy decisions.
Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns
No projected precipitation is reportedly projected in Cleveland, but they're supposed to experience wind gusts of to 12 mph. Again, nothing to make you bench any of your elite Bengals options.
Las Vegas Raiders at New England Patriots
Nothing too crazy in New England; there is a 23% chance of rain and light winds. Monitor as we get closer to Sunday to see if the weather worsens.
Carolina Panthers at Jacksonville Jaguars
We're seeing listings of a 32% chance of thunderstorms at the time of kickoff in Jacksonville. Just something to monitor for Sunday, but nothing extremely serious at the moment.
Tennessee Titans at Denver Broncos
Fantasy players face a 33% chance of thunderstorms in Denver for the game. I'm avoiding Titans players as much as possible solely because of the matchup, but the thunderstorm would only add to the doubt.
