NFL Saturday: Fantasy Football Championship Sleeper Plays for Week 17 image

The next step in your quest for a fantasy football championship kicks off in a NFL Saturday doubleheader.

Need some last minute lineup help to account for an injury or poor match-up? Check out a widely available sleeper play for each of the four teams suiting up on Saturday.

Houston Texans (10-5) at L.A. Chargers (11-4)

Game Details - 4:30pm ET / at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA / Indoors

SLEEPERS

Texans - Dalton Schultz, Tight End (Ownership- 55% Yahoo!, 59% ESPN)

Schultz's usage and fantasy production has popped during the past two weeks to the tune of 13-receptions, plus a pair of touchdowns. A larger sample size shows a steady share of targets and double digit fantasy points since Week 9. Over that stretch the 29-year old is TE-5 in PPR formats.

C.J. Stroud keeps looking his way. Consider Schultz a strong starting option in the ever shallow tight end fantasy pool.

Chargers - Tre' Harris, Wide Receiver (Ownership- 2% Yahoo!, 3% ESPN)

Houston's formidable defensive front combined with the Chargers offensive line troubles, doesn't deliver much confidence for those fantasy owners with L.A. Pass-catchers.

If you are in roster desperation mode, then rookie Tre' Harris is an option with a waft of upside.

In his last two outings Harris saw five targets both times for a combined seven catches. One was with Quentin Johnston out of the lineup, and the other with him in it.

In PPR leagues it could make sense to slide him into a Flex role. Especially if the likes of Johnston, Keenan Allen, and Ladd McConkey are seeing the majority of attention from the Texans secondary.

Baltimore Ravens (7-8) at Green Bay Packers (9-5-1)

Game Details - 8:00pm ET start / at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI / 34-degrees

SLEEPERS

Ravens - Keaton Mitchell, Running Back (Ownership- 3% Yahoo!, 1% ESPN)

In a must-win game to keep their playoff hopes alive, Lamar Jackson with a 'doubtful' injury tag, and journeyman backup QB Tyler Huntley likely at the wheel...well...staying away from most Ravens might be advisable.

However, if the offensive strategy is to pound the rock, then Keaton Mitchell could get more opportunities than usual in spelling Derrick Henry. Mitchell has reached double digit FPTs in two of his past four. There's certainly a path where he can prove successful in a 'cross your fingers' RB-2 or Flex position.

Packers - Emanuel Wilson, Running Back (Ownership- 38% Yahoo!, 35% ESPN)

The Packers find themselves in a similar, or possibly worse, situation at quarterback as Baltimore. Jordan Love has been ruled out, while Malik Willis is questionable with a shoulder injury. Needless to say, don't expect a lot of aerial action.

Green Bay may want to limit Josh Jacobs' snap count as he's been banged up, and the team has already clinched a postseason berth.

Emanuel Wilson is a sharp play at RB. A dual-threat back that can find the endzone, he could end up seeing more action than some expect.
