Week 2 Fantasy Football Bold Predictions

Zach Charbonnet continues his takeover of the Seahawks backfield

Kenneth Walker III looked woefully inadequate in Week 1 against the 49ers, managing just 20 yards on 10 carries while Charbonnet amassed 47 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.

If K9 can’t get it going against Pittsburgh — which just allowed Breece Hall to rack up 145 all-purpose yards on 21 touches — Charbs could take over as Seattle’s bell-cow back as early as the second half of this Week 2 game.

Consider making a trade offer for the 24-year-old now, because the asking price might rise considerably after this weekend in Steel City. - Sloan Piva

Jakobi Meyers will finish as the fantasy WR10 or better

The bolder part of this take is it has zero correlation to the Brock Bowers injury. Now of course if Bowers is hurt, this finish seems more attainable for Meyers.

But even in Week 1, where Bowers played most of the game, Meyers was targeted 10 times. With the way the Chargers looked in Week 1, it’s safe to say Geno Smith will be asked to throw the ball a lot on MNF.

Bowers or not, Meyers is going to be a volume machine in Week 2. - Griffin Missant

FANTASY LINEUP TIPS: Week 2 Start-Sit | Week 2 Sleepers | Week 2 Busts

Jaylen Warren will be a top 10 RB in Week 2

With shades of Chase Brown and Bucky Irving, the Steelers’ change of pace is the workhorse back of choice until they trust rookie Kaleb Johnson.

The Seahawks struggle to cover receivers out of the backfield and Aaron Rodgers will pepper him with checkdowns.

Warren is a good bet to score again and add at least 50 rushing yards to go with his big role in the passing game. - Vinnie Iyer

Braelon Allen will score multiple touchdowns vs. Bills

One of the league's best interior run defenders, Bills lineman Ed Oliver, will miss a few weeks with a foot injury. Even with Oliver in the Week 1, Buffalo struggled to contain Derrick Henry.

This is not saying Allen is anywhere near Henry in terms of skill, and run-first Jets QB Justin Fields could easily accomplish this same feat.

But the Jets will be content in punishing the Bills up the middle and keep the ball out of Josh Allen's hands.

Allen and Breece Hall can coexist as weekly, startable fantasy options, but Allen will again steal the TD spotlight in Week 2. - Tim Heaney
