Who are the best fantasy Week 8 tight ends?
Many of the typical names (Tyler Warren, Jake Ferguson, Travis Kelce, Tucker Kraft, George Kittle) reside near the top and are joined by the surging Oronde Gadsden, who's seeing a growing snap count nearly every week with the Los Angeles Chargers.
He's taking some targets away likely from Keenan Allen while filling in gaps elsewhere: Kimani Vidal doesn't have much competition with Omarion Hampton on injured reserve, and Gadsden himself has little consistency in his own position group behind him. The Bolts and QB Justin Herbert should continue looking his way most weeks, putting in him the perpetual top-10 discussion moving forward.
We'll also call out the Jets' Mason Taylor, who will be the No. 1 target for... Whoever's at quarterback as long as Garrett Wilson (knee) is inactive and should remain No. 2 when Wilson is active.
Which top fantasy TE sleepers should I target for Week 8?
Harold Fannin Jr. And (if healthy) David Njoku (knee) will remain the top two targets overall for rookie Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel, and they line up for plenty of work against the New England Patriots.
We'll upgrade Cade Otton again, this time versus the Saints, as wideout Mike Evans (collarbone) went on IR-R and Chris Godwin (ankle) was already ruled out.
The Cincinnati Bengals' Noah Fant has more target upside with Mike Gesicki (pectoral) going on his own IR-R trip, and a date with the New York Jets should bump Fant up to more involvement after his 4-44-1 effort in Week 7. Joe Flacco's arrival has rejuvenated this Bengals offense.
