Fantasy TEs on Week 13 Bye

No NFL teams are on bye for Week 13, so every active tight end will be in play for fantasy lineups this week.

Week 13 fantasy TE injuries to watch

  • The chief concern, as of Sunday night, is the continued availability of Dalton Kincaid (hamstring), who has missed the Bills' last two games.

Who are the best fantasy Week 13 tight ends?

With every big name available sans Kincaid heading into Monday, fantasy players will have plenty of options available, even if they want to make a change on the waiver wire.

These rankings especially back Travis Kelce (at Cowboys), George Kittle (at Browns), and Trey McBride (at Buccaneers), with some combination of elite role and tantalizing matchup.

The Bengals should provide plenty of statistical comfort for Mark Andrews to help erase the Ravens veteran's dud in Week 12.

Among the rest of those names in the top tiers, feel free to toss Oronde Gadsden II (at Raiders) back into your lineups.

Which top fantasy TE sleepers should I target for Week 13?

With no tight ends on vacation, the threshold for sleepers at tight end becomes much tougher to break.

If your league is aggressive in stashing starter-worthy names and you're scrounging, back these start 'em tight ends for Week 13:

  • Ride with Hunter Henry again after his big Week 12.
  • Juwan Johnson should be busy for the Saints against the weak Dolphins secondary.
  • AJ Barner should continue earning at least a handful of targets against the Vikings.
  • Theo Johnson should benefit from matchup issues with the Patriots' secondary outside of shutdown CB Christian Gonzalez.
  • The Jaguars' Brenton Strange might be Trevor Lawrence's No. 2 -- or No. 1 -- receiver if Brian Thomas Jr. Remains out.
  • Shedeur Sanders' breakout game in his NFL starting debut could prompt deep-leaguers to throw a dart on Harold Fannin Jr.

Which fantasy Week 13 bust candidates should I worry about among tight ends?

Even with the crowded player pool, you might be able to swap out some middling options if you can cycle them freely during the season.

With everyone at your disposal, don't bother with Kyle Pitts, even though Kirk Cousins showed somewhat of a rapport with him. The Jets will leak to other offensive players. Keep an eye out for Week 14 bye-week replacement needs, though.

Don't drop Brock Bowers, but the Chargers defense presents a tough matchup for the Raiders' receivers at the other end of Geno Smith's passes. Bench him for another name with a better draw in shallower games.
