Half-PPR Fantasy Rankings Week 4: Top 150 players cheat sheet, lineup tips image

Week 3 of the NFL season was a rough one from a fantasy football perspective. Not only did a lot of those top players not perform, but the injuries were out of control.

There were two definite season-ending injuries to Najee Harris and James Conner. Now, Omarion Hampton and Trey Benson find themselves with huge workloads in their respective offenses.

Then there was a plethora of WR injuries, all of which are avoiding IR at the moment. This includes CeeDee Lamb, Terry McLaurin, and Mike Evans. Evans and Lamb are projected to miss several weeks, whereas McLaurin is just in doubt for Week 4.

With all these injuries, things have shifted significantly. Here are our Week 4 half-PPR Flex rankings, which should be applied to leagues that award half a point for every catch.

FANTASY LINEUP TIPS: Week 4 Start-Sit | Week 4 Busts | Week 4 Sleepers

Half-PPR flex rankings tips for Week 4

Half-PPR RB lineup advice: Week 4

  • Omarion Hampton received the 2nd most touches in Week 3 following Najee Harris's going down. This was only behind CMC; if this continues, Hampton becomes a reliable start.
  • Trey Benson will play his first game as the Cardinals' RB1 after James Conner's injury. He'll face the Seahawks on TNF.

Half-PPR WR lineup advice: Week 4

  • A friendly reminder that Jordan Addison returns from his suspension in Week 4. The Vikings face the Steelers in Dublin.
  • Jaxson Dart is starting for the Giants in Week 4, something to monitor if you are a Malik Nabers manager.
  • With CeeDee Lamb likely to miss Week 4, George Pickens becomes a must-start because of the target share alone.
  • Chris Godwin may return in Week 4. Because this is an earlier return than expected, and it's not official, he is not on the rankings but will be immediately added if he's active for Week 4.

Half-PPR TE lineup advice: Week 4

  • Jake Ferguson, out of nowhere, has become the most targeted TE in the NFL. This trend is expected to continue with Lamb's injury.
  • Both David Njoku and Harold Fannin are sneaky good plays this week against the Lions. Detroit has allowed 16.2 fantasy points per game to the TE position.

TOP FANTASY PICKUPS: Week 4 waiver wire

Who are the best Half-PPR flex Week 4 sleepers?

Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers: This is going to be the breakout game for Matthew Golden. There is no worse secondary in the NFL than the Dallas Cowboys.

Brenton Strange, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars: Strange led the Jags in both receptions and receiving yards in Week 3. With BTJ and Dyami Brown both being banged up, Strange could see this kind of production and volume in Week 4.

Who are the top bust candidates in Half-PPR this week?

Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals: It feels like a crime to put Chase in a bust section, but that's where we are, not even halfway through the season. If we thought Week 3 was ugly, how is Week 4 on MNF playing at Mile High not going to be worse? You always play Chase, but I would not play Higgins.

Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Arizona Cardinals: Between the Cardinals not knowing how to support MHJ as the WR1, and now him dropping wide-open TDs, there is nothing but negative vibes surrounding MHJ.

Notable fantasy players who will miss Week 4

  • George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers (IR)
  • Joe Mixon, RB, Houston Texans (NFI-R)
  • Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs (SUSP)
  • Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers (PUP-R)
  • Tyjae Spears, RB, Tennessee Titans (IR-R)
  • MarShawn Lloyd, RB, Green Bay Packers (IR-R)
  • Jalen McMillan, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (IR-R)
  • Jalen Coker, WR, Carolina Panthers (IR)
  • Aaron Jones Sr., Minnesota Vikings (IR)
