In most league formats, the fantasy football playoffs start in Week 15. For the quarterback position, all starters are in play -- for better or worse.

One-quarterback players may have too many choices. Superflex and two-quarterback managers are relieved to have their full deck back.

The headliner contest pits AFC East MVP candidates against each other with the division essentially on the line; Josh Allen's Bills visit Drake "Drake Maye" Maye's Patriots, and both sit among the best fantasy plays this week.

📋 BEST FANTASY PICKUPS: Week 15 waiver wire guide

Fantasy QBs on Week 15 Bye

The NFL has no more weekly byes for the 2025 regular season. All active fantasy players are available for lineups.

Which QB injuries should I monitor for fantasy Week 15?

  • Daniel Jones appears to have suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon tear. Colts rookie Riley Leonard is set to take over, barring another roster move, and his rushing ability means he could help desperate superflex/2QB fantasy players. (Prepare for a lot of other rough play and limited downfield ability, though.)
  • Jayden Daniels landed on his left elbow and could have returned in Week 14, but head coach Dan Quinn held him out during the Commanders' 31-0 loss to the Vikings. He should be OK for a friendly Week 15 fantasy draw at the Giants, but Marcus Mariota could be a proactive pickup in case another weekly Daniels timeline falls short.
  • Geno Smith exited the Raiders' contest with the Broncos with a right shoulder injury; his Week 15 status is uncertain, meaning Kenny Pickett could be a pickup for superflex/2QB leagues.
  • The Jets' previous weekly QB dance now has a third, unexpected partner: With both Tyrod Taylor (groin) leaving Week 14 action and Justin Fields (knee) having already been inactive, Brady Cook stepped in. The rookie went 14-for-30 with 163 yards and two interceptions; the undrafted Missouri alum was thrown into the deep end and could find himself under center as the Jets continue playing out the string against the Jaguars' tough defense.

Who are the best Week 15 fantasy QBs?

The top two quarterbacks for Week 15 face each other: Josh Allen, coming off a 4-TD effort in a snowy win over the Bengals, squares off with fellow MVP candidate Drake Maye as the Bills and Patriots play their second matchup that will go a long way toward AFC East control.

Rams leader Matthew Stafford doesn't need rushing stats to occupy a top-10 weekly fantasy spot, and hosting his former Lions club presents a ripe opportunity for another big day.

Which fantasy QB sleepers should I pick up from the Week 15 waiver wire?

J.J. McCarthy proved doubters wrong -- in an easy matchup versus the Commanders, admittedly -- with a career-best three touchdown passes, but he was also efficient at 16-for-23 through the air. A Week 15 visit at the Cowboys offers another chance to hone his craft in his first full season and help fantasy players, especially those who tucked him away in superflex/2QB.

Jaxson Dart gets the pleasure of facing that same Commanders secondary coming off a bye. Assuming he's still healthy after recent concussion issues, the mobile rookie should deliver, even if his legs do most of the work.

Which quarterbacks rank as fantasy Week 15 busts?

Packers starer Jordan Love's fine effort versus the Bears will be tough to repeat against a staunch Broncos defense. Christian Watson may have to deal with lockdown cornerback Patrick Surtain II, and Denver's pass rush should give No. 10 fits. That being said, he's still a useful QB2.

Jacoby Brissett may once again continue to doubt us, and he's still worth holding on roster during your fantasy playoff chase. However, the Texans' pass defense remains the league's toughest, and fantasy quarterbacks have struggled if they're not mobile -- and Brissett will struggle if Marvin Harrison Jr. Is inactive. As is the case with Love, Brissett deserves superflex/2QB attention, but single-QB players can rotate in another option while tucking him away.
