Every time a team plays on Thursday Night Football, it accelerates fantasy football start-sit decisions for key players.
That's as true as ever in Week 12 when the Buffalo Bills take on the Houston Texans with the likes of Khalil Shakir, Dalton Schultz and more on the roster bubble.
Here, we're going to take a quick look at Shakir, and the analysis is going to be a bit different than usual.
There's simply a fun reason to start Shakir this week.

Should I start Khalil Shakir in fantasy Week 12?
Yes, you should start Shakir in Week 12.
Here's why: He and his wife just had their first baby.
Sayler Shakir gave birth to Sunny Haven Shakir on Tuesday.
And there really are a lot of examples of athletes shining in their first game back after their child is born. Why not Shakir?
The Bills' passing offense hasn't been great, but Shakir is a key component. The Texans may bottle things up inside and also get pressure on Josh Allen, so the quick passes to Shakir should be in the gameplan.
Shakir makes the most sense in PPR formats, but even in standard leagues, he could be looking at 60 yards and a touchdown if this week goes well.
He's not a must-start by any means, but he's a fun start, and sometimes that's what fantasy football is about.
