The fantasy football tight end spot always ends up leaving plenty to be desired.
A few stars emerge, and then beyond that, it's a wild card every week as to who will actually contribute.
This season, there have been some players more frustrating than others. Those include Mark Andrews, T.J. Hockenson and Colston Loveland.
And with five weeks in the books, it seems safe to make some calls on what to do with them going forward.

Should I drop Mark Andrews in fantasy?
At this point, it's no big deal to drop Mark Andrews in fantasy.
Doing so likely requires a good pickup in his place, someone like Harold Fannin Jr., Evan Engram or Brenton Strange (if his Monday night injury isn't a problem).
Andrews wasn't contributing with Lamar Jackson at QB. Now with Cooper Rush in, and the Ravens' season vastly declining, it doesn't seem like he'll be coming to the rescue.
Should I drop T.J. Hockenson in fantasy?
Hockenson is much the same answer as Andrews: If there's someone with a bit more upside out there, he's OK to drop.
The Vikings still occasionally do things to get Hockenson involved, but he doesn't seem to have the post-catch explosiveness he once did.
Minnesota also hasn't been helped from a consistency standpoint by already using two quarterbacks, and a switch back to J.J. McCarthy in the coming weeks may not be all that smooth, either.

Should I drop Colston Loveland in fantasy?
Yes, you can drop Colston Loveland in fantasy.
His injury hasn't helped matters, and maybe you stashed him in an IR spot.
But although his draft status was a top-10 pick, the Bears didn't appear ready to use him in a major way even before he got hurt.
