The 2025 World Series of Darts Finals was filled with exciting action on Day 2, Saturday, with the first round wrapping up during the afternoon session and the second round being staged during the evening session.
With 16 games played on the day, we now know which eight players will be competing in the quarterfinal round on Sunday.
Round two notes:
Heta vs. De Decker: In the first game of the second round, Belgium's Mike De Decker was able to defeat Damon Heta, 6-4.
Rock vs. Noppert: It took just over nine minutes for Josh Rock to whitewash Danny Noppert. En route to the 6-0 win, Rock hit seven 180s and had an average of 107.36.
Humphries vs. Doets: Luke Humphries avoided having to play a sudden-death leg against Kevin Doets, coming away with a 6-4 victory.
van Gerwen vs. Cross: Michael van Gerwen was the first Dutch player to advance into the third round this evening, beating Rob Cross 6-5.
van Barneveld vs. Price: Raymond van Barneveld looked to be on his way to playing in the quarterfinal round on Sunday, but Gerwyn Price fought back, picking up a 6-4 win.
Dobey vs. Menzies: Despite 28 missed darts at doubles, Chris Dobey was fortunate to beat Cameron Menzies 6-1, as Menzies struggled with an all-time tournament low average of 66.85.
Littler vs. Clayton: In recent Luke Littler fashion, he faced an early 0-3 deficit, yet found a way to come back and beat Jonny Clayton, 6-4.
Smith vs. Chisnall: To finish off the night session and day, Ross Smith took down Dave Chisnall in a 6-4 win.
