Scotland's Cameron Menzies has a history of having trouble with his emotions on the stage in darts matches.

He's had a positive past couple of years on Tour, coming into this year's PDC Darts WC as the #26 seed.

Menzies had high hopes of a run at the event this year, but fell short of making it out of the first round against debutant Charlie Manby.

He lost a thrilling game that went to a last-set decider and went viral for his displayed anger after Manby pinned a double to seal the win.

Just last year, Cameron Menzies had a similar emotional breakdown on stage at the PDC WC, when American Leonard Gates eliminated him in the first round.

He finished the game in tears, as his emotions took over and prevented him from playing the darts he's capable of.

Instead of tears this year, it was pure anger, as Menzies had several chances to keep the match alive, but couldn't find a double against Charlie Manby at the end of the game.

Once Manby sealed the game, Menzies began to punch the water table on stage several times, leading to the crowd booing him and forcing the referee, Kirk Bevins, to rush him off the stage.

Menzies didn't play poorly in the match by any means, averaging ~92, but faced a determined Charlie Manby, who was stronger in the end.

Menzies had several leads at times in the match. He led 2-1 in sets, even with a chance to win a last-leg decider to win the match 3-1.

Manby was able to force a fifth set, where Menzies still had the advantage, since he was 'on throw' to start the set.

Things began to go south when Manby went up 2-1 in legs in the last set, 'breaking Menzies' throw' in the third leg.

Manby then was able to win the fourth leg of the final set, winning the game despite missing several match darts and giving Menzies a few chances to keep the game going.

Manby will face the winner of the match between Adam Sevada and Matt Campbell.
