The 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts is in the books.
Canada's national women's curling championship took place at Fort William Gardens, initially with no fans in attendance. However, there was an opening for fans to attend during events Feb. 4-6. The Ontario government announced that sports arenas were allowed to increase their capacity to 500.
Eighteen teams, split into two pools of nine and seeded based on their final standing, had the opportunity to compete in Canada's women's national curling championship for a chance to represent the country. The winning team moves on to represent Canada in the 2022 OK Tire & BKT Tires World Women's Curling Championship in Prince George, B.C., from March 19-27.

Where is the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts taking place?
The tournament took place Jan. 28-Feb. 6 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ont. Curling Canada previously announced that it received approval from provincial health authorities to proceed with the competition.

2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts standings
Eighteen teams, split into two pools of nine and seeded based on their final standing, competed in eight round-robin games. The top four teams (with their records transferring over) advanced to the Championship Pool, where they played four games — one against the top four teams from the other pool.
The top three teams in each pool (instead of the top four) advanced to an expanded playoff field. There was a tiebreaker to determine the third team to advance to the playoffs. The second- and third-ranked teams in each pool crossed over to play in Page playoff qualifier games.
