WNBA star Paige Bueckers shows up at Dallas Stars NHL playoff game image

Paige Bueckers will be playing this WNBA season for the Dallas Wings. But she has a little time on her hands right now before the regular season kicks off. Bueckers decided to take a detour for some NHL playoff action.

Bueckers was spotted in the crowd as the Dallas Stars played the Winnipeg Jets in their NHL playoff series. The Stars have been one of the best teams in the NHL this season. The team shared a look at Bueckers on its X account on Tuesday, May 13.

Bueckers, who played her college ball at Connecticut under head coach Geno Auriemma, was the No. 1 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. The Wings definitely will find a place for her in their starting lineup.

For Tuesday night, though, she's going to be in that front-row seat and rooting for a Stars victory. Maybe the Stars will return the favor when Bueckers takes the court for a Wings home game this season.
