Rugby is one tough sport to play, and it takes someone with incredible strength to do so. When Ilona Maher decided to be part of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit entourage, she knew that looking good mattered a whole lot more.
Maher put on a tight leopard-skin bikini among her awesome photos for the magazine this year. In fact, her photos are among those selected for the digital covers that are produced by the magazine itself. She is highlighted among other models in a new reel posted on the SI Swimsuit account on Instagram on Monday, July 21.
Sure, Hailey Van Lith and Alix Earle are among those selected, too. But Maher is showing off to her fans and followers as well. She's been able to make sure that her modeling career gets off on a solid footing.
Don't be surprised if Maher shows up in more bikini-clad photos in the near future. This is taking her career in a whole new direction, one that might help her take the modeling path after she stops playing rugby. Time will tell.
