Two undefeated fighters face off in what could be an electric lightweight clash when Raymond Muratalla defends the IBF lightweight title against Andy Cruz. The fight in Las Vegas airs on DAZN.
Muratalla (23‑0) is a former NABF lightweight champion. Known as "Danger," he has 17 wins by knockout and defeated Zaur Abdullaev for the interim IBF lightweight title, later being elevated to full champion.
The veteran believes Cruz, who has only six professional fights, isn’t ready for the spotlight. Muratalla aims to remain champion in a stacked division.
"I think it's a huge step up for him," Muratalla told The Ring. "I think for him, it’s gonna be a problem. I think it's too soon for him, just to deal with the type of pressure I put on the mind.
“So, I think it's gonna be too much for him and see me breaking him down in the later rounds. There's definitely a chance I can stop him. My power speaks for itself, so I think with the right shot, I could definitely stop him.”
Cruz (6‑0) was an acclaimed amateur star, earning more than 12 gold medals. The 2020 Olympic gold medalist won two fights in 2025 and has claimed half of his victories by knockout. The Cuban looks to prove doubters wrong early in his professional career.
“Since arriving in the United States, I always knew I had what it takes to be here…I am aware that every fight will be more difficult for me,” Cruz told Matchroom Boxing via Bad Left Hook.
"As I climb the ranks, the fights gets harder. This is my first opportunity for the title, so for preparation, each camp has to be with more intensity, with more desire, more heart, so that I can achieve my goal.”
Former champions, top contenders, and rising stars are set to appear on the Raymond Muratalla vs. Andy Cruz undercard.
