Jake Paul is indeed related to Logan Paul, as the two brothers were born less than two years apart and rose to fame together as YouTube stars.
While Logan has taken a bit of a different path than Jake, he also found himself embroiled in a few internet controversies early in his days in the limelight and dabbled in boxing before taking on a WWE career.

Paul's brother, Logan, is older by nearly two years, but the two helped each other rise to fame on YouTube and have stayed in the entertainment industry as professionals.
Logan Paul boxing career
While Jake has enjoyed a more successful boxing career, Logan dabbled in the sport with a pair of fights against KSI before taking the dramatic step of facing Floyd Mayweather in 2021. The Mayweather fight, which Logan lost, drew some criticism after Logan said it wasn't a "real fight" because Mayweather held back. Logan's most recent fight was a win over MMA fighter Dillon Danis in 2023.
Logan Paul WWE career
Logan made his first WWE appearance in 2021 and officially made his in-ring debut in 2022. While Jake has found his footing as a boxer, Logan appears to be settled in as a full-time WWE wrestler and is a member of The Vision stable.

Logan has hosted his own podcast, "Impaulsive," since 2018. The podcast's YouTube channel has more than 4.8 million subscribers, and its guest list included President Donald Trump during his campaign to return to the White House in 2024.

Has Jake Paul ever fought Logan Paul?
The Paul brothers have yet to fight each other, whether as boxers or wrestlers. Logan Paul teased a potential fight between the two in a 2025 YouTube video, but the clip turned out to be a promotion for a new reality series on HBO Max rather than a fight.
What is Paul American?
That reality series would be 'Paul American', which aired its first season from late March 2025 through mid-May. The eight-episode series gave fans a closer look at the day-to-day lives of the Paul brothers. It is unclear whether a second season will be produced.

How did the Paul brothers become famous?
While the Paul brothers are making their name as fighters nowadays, they first rocketed to fame as social media stars.
The brothers gained a significant following on Vine, a social media app for short videos, and that following traveled to YouTube before Vine was discontinued. Known for humorous videos and pranks, both Paul brothers quickly became YouTube stars. Jake even turned that fame into a role on Disney Channel's "Bizaardvark" alongside Olivia Rodrigo, while both brothers even dabbled in music by releasing a song at one point.
Logan found himself embroiled in more controversy than Jake during their early days on YouTube, including an incident in which he and his team filmed a dead body in what he described as a "suicide forest" in Japan. While Logan said he let the authorities know and censored the body, his decision to post the footage sparked a firestorm of online criticism and helped make him even more of a well-known name.

Jake Paul dad: Greg Paul
Jake Paul's father, Greg, is a former roofer and real estate agent who has appeared in his sons' videos over the years and has gained a sizable following of his own on YouTube.
On his channel "Greg Paul Outdoors," Greg describes himself as someone who loves "anything outdoors," as well as MMA, hunting, overland travel and "helping people be better in what ever they [choose] to do."

Jake Paul mom: Pam Stepnick
Jake Paul's mother, Pam, was a nurse in the Cleveland area before her sons rose to fame, working at UH Westlake Surgery Center for about 20 years.
Her sons' success allowed her to settle into a more comfortable role as a social media personality. Pam posts videos as "VlogMom" on YouTube, and her social media pages are littered with posts about her sons along with photos of her travels.
Pam, who divorced Greg in the early 2000s, is set to release a book in 2026 titled "F*** The Pauls" Written By Their Mother."

Jake Paul stepfather: David Stepnick
Jake Paul's stepfather, David Stepnick, is also in the medical field as an ear, nose and throat doctor who specializes in head and neck surgery, but he has largely stayed out of the social media spotlight outside of appearing in photos posted by his family.
Based on Pam's social media posts, she and David appeared to marry in late 2004.
Were Jake Paul's parents rich?
While the financial details for Paul's parents aren't clear, he was raised in a middle class neighborhood with parents who worked as a roofer and nurse, respectively. There is no indication the Paul brothers were particularly wealthy before their internet stardom took hold in the mid-2010s.
