On Nov. 28, 2012, Rajon Rondo's double-digit assists streak of 37 games came to an end.
It culminated when he was ejected in the final minute of the first half of a contest against the Brooklyn Nets at the TD Garden. It was an altercation that also saw the Nets' Kris Humpries and Gerald Wallace get ejected.
At the time of his exit, Rondo had only dished out three assists for the game, one that the Nets won 95-83.
This game snapped his streak of consecutive double-digit assists games at 37, tied for the second-longest in NBA history with John Stockton, a Hall of Famer who has multiple assists streaks to his name.
Magic Johnson holds the record for most consecutive games with double-digit assists at 46 (April 13, 1983- Feb. 28, 1984). Similar to Johnson, Rondo's streak also took place over multiple seasons.
