Canada track and field schedule: How to watch 2021 Olympic men's and women's events from Tokyo image

Five years ago, Canada left Rio with a handful of track and field medals — six in fact.

Half of those went around the neck of Andre De Grasse. The sprinter won silver in the 200m and bronze in the 100m and 4x100m relay. He'll be back in 2021 looking to collect the same number but with an upgrade in color.

Also back are decathlete, and three-time Olympian Damian Warner, who won bronze in 2016. He's on a high entering the 2021 Games after winning his sixth Hypo Meeting title at the end of May. Pierce LePage finished second to Warner and is expected to be a strong contender for a medal in Tokyo.

The coverage is 'round the clock, as the network is airing four, six-hour programs covering all things Olympics and events featuring Team Canada. CBC is showing live and tape-delayed coverage of the major events. Partners TSN and Sportsnet also have select events.

Streamers also have plenty of ways to watch the games in Canada. CBC Gem and the CBC Olympics app both provide streaming options for Canadians and CBC.ca provides live events, highlights and replays of various CBC-aired sports throughout the Olympics.
