Summer has officially arrived and that means one thing. Summer Jam is back.
The 2026 edition of Australia's biggest streetball tournament will be the 14th iteration, growing even bigger this time around.
Expanding to a four-city run, including Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne in January 2026, before concluding in Melbourne for the Championship in February, Summer Jam is bringing its vibrant atmosphere of hoops, music, and culture around the country.
Summer Jam continues to go from strength to strength each year, beginning in 2011 on the local outdoor courts, to now standing as Australia's premier streetball event, giving pro-am and emerging players a platform to compete against the best and represent their city on the national stage.
The Summer Jam Championship will feature both men’s and women’s divisions competing for a $20,000 prize pool, the National Slam Dunk Contest featuring top Australian and international dunkers, and the Creator Cup, bringing together a team of creators and athletes, who will be coached by an NBA guest coach, to be announced at a later date.
"What started as a single event in Melbourne has grown into a national and now, global movement," co-founder Eamon Larman-Ripon said.
"Summer Jam is about breaking down barriers, creating opportunities, and showing that streetball in Australia can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world."

Each stop of the Summer Jam tour will feature 5v5 competitions, live DJs, MCs, National and World Slam Dunk Contests, food trucks, prizes, and special guests. Winners from each city will earn automatic entry into the S ummer Jam Championship event.

Tickets for Summer Jam 2026 go on sale on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, followed by First Release General Admission and VIP tickets from Monday, December 8th, 2025.
