Tennis fans can once again enjoy some of the leading names in the men's game battling it out for vast sums of cash in Saudi Arabia

The Six Kings Slam event, held as part of the Riyadh Season, has brought together six of the finest players on the ATP Tour for some lucrative exhibition matches.

Rivals Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are once again on a collision course after clashing in the finals of the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open this year.

The Sporting News breaks down the prize money on offer at the Six Kings Slam and how it compares to the four tennis majors.

Six Kings Slam prize money: Total purse at Riyadh Season event

According to widespread reports, the total prize fund for the Six Kings Slam is $13.5 million. Each player is guaranteed at least $1.5m, regardless of their results at the event.

An additional $4.5m for the winner means the victorious finalist will earn approximately $6m, which is significantly greater than purses available even at grand slams.

How does Six Kings Slam prize money compare to grand slams?

The winner of the Six Kings Slam takes home around $6m, which is nearly double the total prize money on offer at the four grand slams: the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.

Jannik Sinner and Madison Keys earned AU$3.5m (around $2.25m) for winning the 2025 Australian Open. Sinner and Iga Swiatek won approximately £3m ($4m) as Wimbledon champions this year.

The biggest prize fund at any tournament this year was the US Open. From a record total pool of $90m, $5m was paid out to the men's and women's champions, Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka.

The tournament ends on Saturday, October 19, with the third-place match and the final.
