Nick Kyrgios has ramped up his preparations for next year's Australian Open, securing a wildcard entry for the Brisbane International.
Since reaching the final of Wimbledon in 2022, Kyrgios has had a horrid run of injuries, being forced into multiple surgeries that has seen him drop to his current ranking of 673.
But after injuries forced him out of action for most of 2025, the 30-year-old is set return to action late in the year, headlined by the 'Battle of the Sexes' match at the end of the month against the top-ranked women's player, Aryna Sabalenka.
Kyrgios will take part in both the singles' and doubles' draw of the Brisbane International, where in the latter format, he will team up with Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis, who he won the Australian Open with in 2022.
