Australia's 25-7 defeat to England at Twickenham in the second leg of the 2025 Spring Tour highlighted a side still struggling to find their identity.
The Wallabies looked organised in patches, but they ultimately couldn't sustain any rhythm in attack and didn't adapt to the wet conditions as well as England did.
Captain Harry Wilson admitted that his side didn't take advantage of their chances when they presented themselves.
"Credit to England, they played the conditions well," he said.
"We had a few chances in their a-zone and we weren’t accurate enough, and it hurt us in the end.
"We’re very disappointed with that."
Coach Joe Schmidt echoed the sentiments of his skipper, pointing to key periods which decided the outcome of the entire game.
"Particularly in that last quarter, where I thought some of the guys coming off the bench, with the experience and power they had, I felt we struggled in that last quarter," he said.
"We’re going to have to massively improve in order to get our game right for Italy."

The Wallabies will take on the Blues next week in the early hours of Sunday morning at Bluenergy Stadium in Udine.
Reinforcements like Len Ikitau and James O’Connor will help the Wallabies make the necessary adjustments for that fixture, however, fading late in games has become a real pattern that Schmidt will have to figure out with his playing group going forward.
