Well, well.
As the club’s first cohort of players prepare to return to Concord Oval for 2026 pre-season training, the Wests Tigers have teased at a major announcement on Monday.
“Something is coming—3.11.25,” the mysterious post declared late on Friday afternoon, coupled with an image of star playmaker Jarome Luai who is currently with Toa Samoa as they prepare for the 2025 Pacific Championship final next weekend at CommBank stadium.
What the post lacked in detail, it made up for with entertainment, sending long-suffering Tigers fans into a frenzied off-season guessing competition.

Has Luai officially agreed to stay on and see out his full contract with the Tigers? (Maybe.)
Could it be the return of one-time Wests Tigers SG Ball star and recently released Storm fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen? (Highly unlikely.)
Is there a new logo coming perhaps, Canterbury Bulldogs style? (Maybe.)
Or perhaps a new jersey partnership for the 2026 NRL season? (Most likely.)
For the sake of Tigers management, we can only hope it’s not a major anti-climax—either way all will be revealed on Monday it seems.
What do you think the big news is?
