The Gold Coast Titans have continued their aggressive roster build for the future, officially announcing the signing of rising hooker Oliver Pascoe on a two-year deal.
Pascoe initially joined the club on a 12-week train-and-trial agreement but has now been rewarded with a full development contract for the 2026 and 2027 seasons after impressing throughout his stint.
The 25-year-old joins the Titans from the Ipswich Jets, where he recently claimed the prestigious Petero Civoniceva Medal as the Hostplus Cup’s best and fairest player for 2025.
His consistency, leadership, and on-field control were key in driving Ipswich’s campaign and earned him widespread recognition across Queensland Cup ranks.

Whilst Titans hooker Sam Verrills has enjoyed the best two-year stint of his NRL career, playing 21 and 24 games in the last two seasons, prior years saw the Titans left short due to Verrills’ injury misfortunes.
Pascoe provides significant backup for Verrills — both off the bench and in the event the Titans find themselves with injury issues at the hooking spot.

Titans head coach Josh Hannay said Pascoe’s journey reflects the kind of story the club wants to foster through its feeder system.
“Oliver is a testament to hard work, determination, and a never-say-die attitude. He represents that while playing for our feeder club, you are never too far away from an NRL opportunity,” Hannay said.
“His performances for Ipswich this season were outstanding, and it’s a great example of pathways working — rewarding players who excel at our affiliate clubs and prove they’re ready for the next level,” Hannay continued.
Pascoe will link up with the Titans squad in November as part of pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026 NRL campaign, looking to push his case for a first-grade debut.
The signing continues Hannay’s emphasis on development and rewarding form through the Titans’ feeder system, following a string of recent youth signings as part of the club’s long-term rebuild.
