The Gold Coast Titans have announced that exciting young half Zane Harrison will join their top 30 NRL squad for the next two seasons after an impressive first year as a full-time player.
A proud Northern Rivers junior, Harrison has been part of the Titans’ development system since the age of 15.
The talented playmaker has quickly built a strong rugby league resume, highlighted by leading Palm Beach Currumbin State High School to both Queensland and National Schoolboy Cup titles in 2024.
In a standout schoolboy campaign, the 19-year-old was awarded the Peter Sterling Medal for his grand final heroics, following a successful stint as captain of the Tweed Seagulls in the Mal Meninga Cup earlier that year.

Harrison’s breakout season also included representing New South Wales Under 19s Origin and making his Hostplus Cup debut with 11 appearances for Tweed, where he showcased exceptional game management and maturity beyond his years.
Now part of the Titans’ top 30 roster, Harrison is eager to continue learning under new head coach Josh Hannay as he eyes an NRL debut in the near future.
“I’ve learnt so much in my first full-time season here at the Titans and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead after making my Hostplus Cup debut earlier this year,” he said.
“Getting the chance to watch and train alongside guys like Kieran Foran, AJ Brimson and Jayden Campbell has been unreal too. They’ve helped me a lot with learning how to take control of a game.
“Coming through the system and having always been a Titan, my goal is to make my NRL debut here on the Gold Coast.
“While I’m in no rush to do that and just want to keep learning and earning the respect of my teammates, the chance to get that opportunity is what drives me every day.”
Harrison’s promotion from a Titans development player to a top 30 NRL squad member reinforces the club’s commitment to nurturing homegrown talent and investing in the next generation of Gold Coast stars.
