The Titans have confirmed the signing of halfback Lachlan Ilias on a two-year deal, with the former Rabbitohs and Dragons playmaker set to join the club ahead of the 2026 NRL season.
Ilias, 25, brings 60 games of NRL experience to the Gold Coast and will be a crucial piece to the Titans' halves rotation as the club enters a new era under head coach Josh Hannay.
After a challenging year with the Red V - where he was limited to just seven NRL appearances - Ilias now has the opportunity to reignite his first grade career.

Despite limited minutes in the top grade, he impressed in NSW Cup, guiding the Dragons' reserve grade side to the 2025 grand final and demonstrated the untapped potential he still carries.
The Titans have been on the lookout for an experienced half following the retirement of veteran Kieran Foran, and Ilias' arrival adds solid depth alongside emerging playmakers like Jayden Campbell and Zane Harrison.
Hannay welcomed the signing, describing Ilias as a composed and intelligent footballer who can steer a team around the park effectively.
"Lachlan is a smart, composed halfback who’s shown he can perform at the top level," Hannay said in a statement released by the club.
"He’s got a strong kicking game, good defensive instincts, and he’ll add real depth and competition to our halves.
"We’re building a squad for 2026 that are hungry and Lachlan fits that mould perfectly.
"He’s got unfinished business in the NRL, and we’re excited to have him take the next step in his career here on the Gold Coast."
Ilias will link up with his new teammates when pre-season training begins in November, marking the start of the third chapter in his NRL career.
