'This is so bad': Canterbury fans bite back at new logo image

The Bulldogs have signalled a new era for their football club with the unveiling of a refreshed club logo that will officially come into play from November 1.

Canterbury's updated badge is a combination of digital minimalism and clip art which is becoming more prevalent with the development of artificial intelligence.

The new logo drop sparked significant fan backlash, with supporters voicing their distaste for the new design.

Bulldogs fans have now put their own creative design skills to the test by coming up with their own series of alternative options.

Chief Executive Officer Aaron Warburton said that the new logo is a reflection of "where we're going."

“This new emblem is more than just a logo; it reflects who we are, where we’ve come from."

"We’re incredibly proud of the design and believe it strikes the right balance between paying tribute to our 90-year legacy and capturing the energy, ambition and unity that will define our future."
