Gold Coast Titans have been dealt a major blow to their forward pack, with the club confirming prop Jaimin Jolliffe has suffered a season-ending ACL rupture at training this week.

Scans revealed the devastating injury, ruling the 27-year-old out for the entire NRL season before it had even begun.

Jolliffe is now set to meet with Titans medical staff to map out his recovery plan and rehabilitation timeline after undergoing surgery on his knee.

The powerful middle forward had been pushing for a strong role in new coach Josh Hannay’s rotation in 2026 after becoming a key contributor across recent seasons.

His injury leaves the Titans facing early questions around middle-forward depth and rotation heading into the new campaign, with Gold Coast looking to avoid another disappointing season after narrowly escaping the wooden spoon in 2025 and finishing 15th.

The news also comes with captain and superstar Tino Fa’asuamaleaui only just resuming training after having surgery on his own troublesome knee.

Fa’asuamaleaui has previously ruptured his ACL and, after a strong return, felt discomfort during the recent Kangaroos tour, resulting in a minor clean-out procedure.

In more positive news, Fa’asuamaleaui is confident he will be fit for the side’s Round 1 clash with the Sharks.

For Jolliffe, however, the club did not provide a return timeline, with the focus now firmly on surgery and a long road back to full fitness.

After playing 17 games for the Titans last year, his presence will be sorely missed, and his absence is sure to make the club’s push for a finals berth that little bit more difficult.
