The NRL Pre-Season Challenge has returned this year with 16 matches spread across two weeks.

After its inception last year, the format and points system will remain the same with teams able to earn bonus points for tries, linebreaks and offloads.

Penrith will be the only NRL side not to feature in the pre-season tournament with the Panthers set to travel to England to face Wigan in the World Club Challenge.
