The last round of the regular season is here with plenty at stake as the minor premiership and a number of places in the top eight are yet to be decided.

On Thursday night, the Broncos and Storm met with both sides resting a host of stars ahead of finals footy. But it was Melbourne who grabbed the win to keep the minor premiership race alive.

On Friday, the Sea Eagles finished their season on a winning note against Wests Tigers who have picked up the wooden spoon for the second successive year.

A blockbuster between South Sydney Rabbitohs and Sydney Roosters then capped off the evening with Trent Robinson's side keeping their finals hopes alive.

A triple-header on Saturday started with the Dolphins beating a depleted Warriors outfit to end their inaugural campaign on a positive note.

The Cowboys then headed to the foot of the mountains to face Penrith knowing only a victory would do to make the finals. However, the Panthers had other ideas with a ruthless display to wrap up the minor premiership.

The Knights continued their winning streak to make it nine on the bounce with a victory over the Dragons.

On Sunday, the Dogs fell to the Titans, before the Sharks locked in a home final with a 24-6 win over Canberra.
