Eagled-eyed rugby league fans may have noticed an unfamiliar face during the anthems ahead of the second Ashes Test.
Standing confidently at the far right end of the Australians, right alongside Cameron Munster, was an ever-so-stealthy pitch invader who photobombed the national anthems.
When asked about the moment following the Ashes clinching 14-4 victory in Liverpool, Munster was entirely unfazed suggesting the random guy beside him in the Kangaroos jersey ‘must have been Kevvie’s (Australian coach Kevin Walters) cousin or something.’
As for who it actually was?

His identify was later revealed as Englishman Daniel Jarvis, aka Jarvo, who has a long history of successfully pulling off such moves at major events.
The serial prankster has previously found his way on to the pitch during the FA Cup, Test cricket at The Oval and also masqueraded as a member of the British Olympic team during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
An enquiry was recently launched after Jarvis claimed responsibility for planting a mobile phone in the British House of Commons with the intention to transmit ‘sex noises’ during parliament, causing major embarrassment to security services.
