The Manly Sea Eagles could be on the verge of losing another key backline talent.
This development adds to growing concerns at Brookvale, as the club faces ongoing uncertainty around key players Daly Cherry-Evans and Tom Trbojevic, whose futures remain unsettled.
Just days before the NRL’s November 1 open market, Koula’s future with Manly remains in limbo.
The eight-time Tongan international, known for his electric pace and versatility across the backline, has already racked up 82 NRL appearances and established himself as one of the Sea Eagles’ most reliable young stars.

However, Tolutau Koula is reportedly being courted by a rival rugby code, according to News Corp.
Koula has reportedly attracted interest from R360, a new rebel rugby union competition making waves by targeting elite NRL talent.
While he could begin talks with rival clubs from November 1, Koula still holds a player option that could see him remain with Manly until the end of the 2027 season.
Koula’s situation isn’t the only one causing headaches for Manly.
Reuben Garrick, another dependable outside back, is expected to test the market after contract negotiations stalled with the Sea Eagles.
