The Gold Coast Titans have continued their stunning recruitment drive under new coach Josh Hannay, adding young Canberra Raiders back Jensen Taumoepeau and Burleigh Bears forward Adam Christensen to their roster.
The latest signings extend the club’s growing list of fresh talent, with recent arrivals including Luke Sommerton, Siale Faeamani, Lachlan Ilias, and Jett Liu as Hannay reshapes the Titans’ future core.
Taumoepeau, 25, joins on a two-year deal through to the end of 2027 after a standout season with the Raiders NSW Cup side, where he scored 11 tries in 26 appearances.
Capable of playing both centre and wing, he brings pace, power, and versatility to the Titans’ outside backs with Hannay lauding Taumoepeau's persistence and professionalism.

“Jensen is a player who has truly earned his opportunity. He brings speed, strength, and a real competitive edge to his game, what excites me most is his hunger to improve and contribute to a winning culture here on the Coast.” Hannay stated.
The club also confirmed the addition of Christensen, a powerful 23-year-old forward who was a key figure in Burleigh’s 2025 Queensland Cup campaign.
Scoring 10 tries in 21 games — including a crucial four-pointer in the grand final — Christensen’s form has seen him emerge as one of the state competition’s brightest young forwards.

Hannay said Christensen embodied the type of player the Titans want to build around and with a forward pack that has competition for positions and seen the likes of David Fifita depart it, there may very well be opportunity.
“Adam is a player who’s earned his opportunity through hard work and performance,” he said. “He’s got the physical tools, but more importantly, he’s got the mindset we’re looking for as we build our identity here at the Titans.”
Both Taumoepeau and Christensen will link up with the Titans squad in November as part of pre-season preparations for the 2026 campaign, with Hannay continuing to prioritise development and competition for spots across the park.
In a recruitment raid rivalling some of the biggest roster overhauls we’ve ever seen, the Titans and Josh Hannay have a clear plan to turn the club’s fortunes around — starting with a youth movement that could build a foundation for success for decades to come.
