The Eels have officially announced the signing of gun playmaker Jonah Pezet for the 2026 season.
The 22-year-old has spent four years doing his apprenticeship in the Melbourne Storm system and has notched 18 games of NRL experience.
He emerged as a reliable option for Craig Bellamy who had to lean on him when his usual starting halves were unavailable due to injury or representative duties.

Those brief opportunities in first grade convinced Parramatta's general manager of football that Pezet is the man to elevate the Eels' spine into a top eight unit.
"Jonah is one of the most exciting young talents in the game," O’Neill said.
"He adds class and depth to our halves as we head into the 2026 season.
"Jonah will join us for a year which makes us better now whilst also allowing time for our emerging talent to continue their development through our pathways system.
"Our head coach Jason Ryles has previously worked with Jonah and knows first-hand the professionalism and impact he can have in a team environment.
"We’re excited to welcome Jonah to the club and look forward to seeing him connect with our squad and Eels community in 2026."
Pezet will begin pre-season training with the club in December after a long 2025 campaign where he featured heavily in Melbourne's finals push.
