Canberra have landed a key signing ahead of the 2026 NRL season, with Daine Laurie agreeing to terms on a multi-year deal with the Raiders.
According to a report from The Daily Telegraph, the move will see Laurie link up with Ricky Stuart’s side.
The utility also held talks with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in recent weeks.
The Raiders’ pitch is understood to have swayed the versatile playmaker.

Laurie, 25, has enjoyed a strong return season with the Penrith Panthers, rediscovering the form that made him one of the game’s brightest young fullbacks during his earlier stint at Wests Tigers.
His ability to play both fullback and in the halves made him a valuable target for several clubs looking to strengthen their spine depth.
Laurie’s move caps off a strong 12 months of personal resurgence, having re-established himself as an NRL-calibre playmaker after a challenging final season at the Tigers.
