The Panthers rested 16 players in last night’s game vs the Bulldogs, which would become a 28-4 loss.
With six NRL debutants featuring in the side, the Penrith Panthers showcased their talent and potential to have long rugby league careers.
One of the standouts of the game for Penrith despite the loss was their fullback Daine Laurie, who had made 18 tackles in the game, with multiple being try saving tackles, four tackle busts, one line break, one line break assist and having 10 runs for 99 metres, with 37 post-contact metres.
Earlier in the month, it was reported that Daine Laurie would not be resigned by Penrith, and still remains unsigned for 2026 and beyond.

Post-game, Daine Laurie spoke about his future and what he intends to do as he continues to play without a contract for next year.
“I’m just taking it day by day, trying to be the best player I can be,” Laurie said on the Nine broadcast.
”I’m just going to put my blood, sweat and tears into this [Panthers] jersey.”
The Panthers will take on the Dragons in the last round of the regular season as they focus for the finals.
