How long is Mike Evans out?
The duration of Evans' absence due to the injury has not yet been determined.
Evans will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of his injury, according to Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles. His time missed will ultimately depend on the grade of the hamstring injury and his response to rest and treatment.
Compounding concern is that Evans has been plagued by hamstring issues in the past, including in 2024. Last season, Evans was limited in Weeks 6 and 7 before missing three games with a hamstring issue.
Given his history, Tampa Bay could err on the side of caution with his recovery.
