Any football fan should be excited for Saturday night when the Green Bay Packers go to Soldier Field to play the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round.

These two NFC North rivals met twice this season, and both games were memorable. In both meetings, the game was decided in the final possession with the ball in Caleb Williams' hands.

The first time around, he was picked off to seal the game. However, when they met again on Dec. 20, Williams connected on a stunning walk-off touchdown to DJ Moore, sealing the victory over the Packers.

Here's who both the Bears and Packers could play in the divisional round if they win on Saturday.

NFL playoff bracket 2026

Who do the Bears play next?

With the Bears' success this season, they secured the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Chicago will face the highest remaining seed in the divisional round opponents if they get past the Packers.

No. 3 Philadelphia Eagles

No matter what happens in the other matchup, if the Eagles beat the San Francisco 49ers, they would travel to Chicago in the divisional round to take on the Bears.

No. 4 Carolina Panthers

If the Panthers manage to take down the Los Angeles Rams at home, the only way they would end up playing the Bears is if the 49ers won over the Eagles.

No. 5 Los Angeles Rams

The Rams' situation is identical to the Panthers. If Los Angeles goes to Charlotte and wins, the only way they'd play the Bears is if the Niners win.

Who do the Packers play next?

When the Packers acquired Micah Parsons before the season began, many labeled them automatic Super Bowl contenders. As the season went on and the injuries stacked up, Green Bay had to battle for the last spot in the wild-card. If the Packers beat the Bears, here's who they could face in the divisional round.

No. 1 Seattle Seahawks

If Green Bay manages to take down the Bears in Chicago, they would automatically head to Seattle to face the Seahawks. This is because the Seahawks get to play the NFC's lowest-seeded team (the Packers), as they are the top team in the conference.
