Although the Los Angeles Rams never achieved a dynasty in the NFL era, they certainly boast a rich postseason history.
It is first important to note that the Rams have had four name changes since the organization was created in 1936. They were the Cleveland Rams from 1936-1945, then became the Los Angeles Rams from 1946-1994, then the St. Louis Rams from 1995 to 2015, and once again the Los Angeles Rams in 2016.
While they do not count as Super Bowls as it was before the merger, the Rams were quite the dynasty in the 40s and 50s. From 1945 to 1955, the Rams appeared in five NFL Championship games, winning two and losing three.
With that said, what does the Rams' Super Bowl history look like post-1966 season?

How many Super Bowls have the Rams won?
The Rams have won two Super Bowls in their organization's history.
Super Bowl XXXIV (1999): Rams 23, Titans 16
In 1999, the Rams earned the nickname "Greatest Show on Turf" for their innovative, high-powered offense, which was exceptional for its era. This team broke many offensive records, thanks in part to Kurt Warner's quarterbacking of Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt, with Marshall Faulk in the backfield.
This high-powered offense took them all the way to the Super Bowl, where the Tennessee Titans notoriously came up a yard short. The Rams secured the win and their first-ever Super Bowl title.
The organization had to wait two decades and undergo a name change before getting a chance at its next one.
Super Bowl LVI (2021): Rams 23, Bengals 20
After offensive wizard Sean McVay teamed up with Matthew Stafford, the Rams quickly established themselves as Super Bowl contenders in 2021.
With notable victories over the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round and a narrow escape from their rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, in the NFC Championship, the Rams advanced to the big game.
Stafford showcased determination by leading a drive in the final moments and throwing the game-winning touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp. The Rams then secured their victory by stopping the Cincinnati Bengals on downs, winning 23-20.

Rams Super Bowl appearances
The Rams have appeared in five total Super Bowls, but they did not win any of the previous three.
| Game | Year | Score |
| Super Bowl XIV | 1979 | Steelers 31, Rams 19 |
| Super Bowl XXXVI | 2001 | Patriots 20, Rams 17 |
| Super Bowl LIII | 2018 | Patriots 13, Rams 3 |
While the Rams' appearance in five Super Bowls is notable, they unfortunately faced the two teams with the most Super Bowl wins in NFL history. They lost to Tom Brady and the Patriots in 2001, and then had to face him again 17 years later with an entirely different organization, which is challenging.
In the 2018 Super Bowl, the Rams came in with youngster Jared Goff and one of the most dynamic offenses in the NFL. They were the victims of a Bill Belichick masterclass, managing only one field goal.
When was the last time the Rams played in the Super Bowl?
The last time the Rams played in the Super Bowl was the last time they hoisted a Lombardi Trophy. In 2021, the Rams went all in with the additions of Matthew Stafford, Odell Beckham Jr., and Von Miller. With this loaded roster, they captured the Super Bowl.
