Packers QB depth chart: How Green Bay's quarterback room stacks up with Jordan Love, Malik Willis injuries image

The Green Bay Packers have dealt with major injuries all season, including season-ending ones to Micah Parsons and Tucker Kraft, but as they fight for a playoff berth, their biggest concern now is a sudden crisis at the most crucial position on the field. Both quarterbacks Jordan Love and Malik Willis are dealing with respective injuries and are questionable for Week 17's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Love is in concussion protocol following a helmet-to-helmet hit, and his backup, Malik Willis, is nursing an injured throwing shoulder sustained in the same overtime loss to the Chicago Bears. With both passers listed as limited in practice — and Love still facing the hurdles of the concussion protocol — the Packers' can clinch a postseason spot against the Ravens no matter who the signal caller is.

Here's where the Packers quarterback depth chart stands.

1. Jordan Love

Love exited the game against Chicago when he sustained a helmet-to-helmet hit in the first half of the overtime loss. Ruled out for the remainder of the contest, Love was immediately placed in the concussion protocol, leaving his status uncertain for the critical game against Baltimore.

While the team has confirmed he was a limited participant in walk-through practices, which is an encouraging sign of progress, Matt LaFleur cautioned that Love is "by no means... In the clear."

Love must be fully cleared by an independent neurologist before he can return to the field.

2. Malik Willis

Willis, who came in for Love against Chicago, is dealing with a shoulder injury of his own. He was able to finish the game, even completing a 31-yard pass in overtime, which he credited mostly to adrenaline.

While Head Coach Matt LaFleur noted that Willis's shoulder was "pretty sore" and listed him as a limited participant in the Tuesday walk-through practice, Willis himself expressed confidence, saying he would "assume that I'm going to be ready" to play against the Ravens if needed.

Willis went 9-for-11 for 121 yards and a touchdown in his first real game action of the season.

3. Clayton Tune

Tune is the Packers' emergency option at quarterback, currently residing on the practice squad after being signed in August following his release by the Arizona Cardinals, who drafted him in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Tune's role has suddenly become critically important, taking reps as the QB2 in practice this week. His NFL experience is limited, with just one start and 23 total passes thrown across two seasons with the Cardinals. If he is needed for the game, he would have to be elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.
