AFC
1. Denver Broncos 11-2 (first place, AFC West)
The Broncos beat the Raiders in Week 14 to make up a half-game on the Patriots, giving them No. 1 with the conference-record tiebreaker (7-2 vs. 6-2). They go into Monday night leading the division by 2.5 games over the Chargers.
2. New England Patriots 11-2 (first place, AFC East)
The Patriots, who have their bye in Week 14, fell one spot with the Broncos winning. They lead the Bills by two games in the division race.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars 9-4 (first place, AFC South)
The Jaguars went up a full game and a head-to-head tiebreaker by beating the Colts at home in Week 14. They are looking good to win the division after losing control of it early.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers 7-6 (first place, AFC North)
The Steelers beat the Ravens to take the division lead by a full game and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. They also gained ground on the losing Bengals to gu up three games against them.
5. Los Angeles Chargers 9-4 (second place, AFC West)
The Chargers trail the Broncos by two games in the division race after beating the Eagles on Monday night. They also jumped the Bills for this top spot with still a better conference record (7-2 vs. 6-3).
6. Buffalo Bills 9-4 (second place, AFC East)
The Bills shrunk the Patriots lead to two games with their win over the Bengals in Week 14 and further strengthen their favorable wild-card position, now in the second slot ahead of the Texans (who beat them) after the Colts lost.
7. Houston Texans 8-5 (second place, AFC South)
The Texans have rallied from 0-3 to go 8-2 since and stay a game behind the Jaguars in the division race. They displaced the losing third-place Colts for this third wild-card spot by beating the Chiefs and holding the division-record tiebreaker (4-1 vs. 2-2).

12. Cincinnati Bengals (4-9)
The Colts fell out while the Chiefs fell further back and out of division contention with their home loss to the Texans. The Ravens dug themselves a tough hole and also dropped to even with the Dolphins. The Bengals are barely alive in the AFC North race.

14. Cleveland Browns (3-10)
15. Las Vegas Raiders (2-11)
16. Tennessee Titans (2-11)
All four of these teams have been eliminated, with the Browns being the latest to join the club in Week 14.

NFC
1. Los Angeles Rams 10-3 (first place, NFC West)
The Rams jumped the losing Bears for the top seed and now lead the Packers by a half-game for this spot. Their win also allowed them to stay ahead of the winning Seahawks, over whom they own the head-to-head tiebreaker.
2. Green Bay Packers 9-3-1 (first place, NFC North)
The Packers, after beating the Bears at home on Sunday, took over the division lead by a half-game over the Bears and stayed 1.5 games ahead of the third-place Lions, who they beat in Week 13. They also are up a game on the Eagles to whom they lost.
3. Philadelphia Eagles 8-5 (first place, NFC East)
The Eagles saw their division lead stay at 1.5 games over the Cowboys after both teams lost to open and close Week 14. They stayed behind the Rams and Packers, still one game ahead of the Buccaneers. The Eagles still do have key wins over the Rams, Packers and Buccaneers that can come into play before the end.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-6 (first place, NFC South)
The Buccaneers are still up a common-games tiebreaker on the idle Panthers, also 7-6, after their shocking home upset loss to the Saints. The last four weeks will determine who wins the division as its sole playoff representative.
5. Seattle Seahawks 10-3 (second place, NFC West)
The Seahawks kept pace with the Rams by beating the Falcons on Sunday. They remain a full game ahead of the third-place 49ers, who have a bye.
6. San Francisco 49ers 9-4 (third place, NFC West)
The 49ers, who had a bye in Week 14, seem back on track to at least earn a wild card spot behind the Seahawks and Rams, now trailing both teams by a game with four left to play for all of them.
7. Chicago Bears 9-4 (second place, NFC North)
The Bears got jumped by the Packers and fell down here from No. 1 with the Seahawks and Rams also winning and the 49ers idle. They also now lead the thrid-place Lions by only one game in the division.

8. Detroit Lions 8-5
9. Dallas Cowboys 6-6-1
10. Carolina Panthers 7-6
11. Minnesota Vikings 5-8
The Lions improved their wild-card and NFC North-winning chances by beating the Cowboys on Thursday night, while the Cowboys are now hanging on by a thread in the NFC East race, their only legitimate path to make the playoffs. Only the Panthers have a fair shot here otherwise, also through the division route. The Vikings are barely alive.

13. Arizona Cardinals 3-10
14. New Orleans Saints 3-10
