'Maserati Marv' has taken the NFL by storm.

In many ways, it can be argued that Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. was tipped for big-league greatness. He has the pedigree, after all; his father's gridiron prowess is well-documented at this point.

Nevertheless, the nature by which Harrison has found success is distinct. He's a different player from his father, with hulking height and a lithe frame.

The touchdowns are all the same, though. Harrison is one of the game's best young pass-catchers at the moment. There's little reason to believe that reputation will die down any time soon, either. After all, he's got greatness swirling in his blood.

With that, here's what you need to know about Harrison's family tree, from his Hall of Fame father to his gifted brother.

His tally of eight 1,000-yard seasons is the joint-eighth highest mark in league history. He also has a Lombardi Trophy beside his name, having formed a devastating battery with Peyton Manning en route to Indianapolis' Super Bowl triumph in 2006.

Harrison was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016, his first year on the ballot. Here's a look at Harrison's numbers throughout his glistening 13-year career.

Marvin Harrison Jr. mother: Dawne Harrison

Harrison's mother is Dawne Harrison. She's spurned the limelight throughout both her husband and son's careers. But she's remained a pivotal figure in Harrison's on-field and off-field life, offering him an "escape" from the rigors of the sport he has long excelled in.

“Obviously, she supports me with my football career, but just having a mother first, it’s so important to me," Marvin Jr. told Cleveland.com in 2023. "And then talk to her about how I’m doing mentally, or academically or just anything that’s going on in my life, it’s really important for me.”

Dawne worked two jobs during Harrison's childhood, working in a hospital and as a fitness instructor. Her days began at 4 a.m., Marvin Jr. said. Her work ethic set an example for Marvin Jr. to follow.

“If she’s getting up on four hours of sleep, I have no excuse not to either,” Marvin Jr. said.

Dawne was the standard-bearer for Marvin Jr., imploring him to keep his grades up throughout his academic career. Marvin Jr. followed her lead to great acclaim, posting grade point averages "north of 3.5" while at Ohio State.

All of that is to say, Dawne's legacy swirls through Marvin Jr. Not only is he a gifted pass-catcher. But he's also developed the skills necessary to being a well-rounded man. He credits his mother with helping fortify the latter.

“I’m just so thankful that she understands the work that I kind of have to put in," Marvin Jr. said. “And I can tell her that it was all worth it now. As bad as I wish I could call her some times and just get to talk to her, she knew and understood and my athletic career kind of comes, not first, but meant a lot to me.”

Marvin Harrison Jr. brother: Jett Harrison

Marvin Harrison Jr.'s brother is Jett Harrison. He, too, has shown a propensity to rip unruly passes out of the sky, albeit on a much smaller stage — for now.

Jett is a burgeoning high school talent at St. Joseph's Prep, the same school Marvin shined at. He's not yet ranked. But he already has received an offer from Ohio State, per 247 Sports.

Jett carries an impressive frame for his age and earned play time as a freshman, quite the feat considering St. Joseph's reputation as a football academy. According to Eleven Warriors, Jett has also landed offers from Boston College, Duke, Syracuse and Tennessee.

A Class of 2028 talent, Jett's college recruitment is certain to draw interest from gridiron enthusiasts. According to Marvin Jr., the hype is warranted.

"He's great. He's more talented than I ever was at that age," Marvin Jr. said of his brother in 2023. "He's starting early with the routes and everything from my dad. I am super excited to see how he comes along. It's gonna be very scary to see how he progresses."

Where is Marvin Harrison Jr. from?

Harrison hails from Philadelphia, the same city in which his father grew up. He attended St. Joseph's Prep, a Catholic school known, among other things, for its contributions to athletics.

Marvin Jr. led the Hawks to three-straight state titles during a historic three-year stint that saw him set Philadelphia Catholic League records in receiving yards (2,625) and receiving touchdowns (37). He's one of a handful of gridiron standouts to emerge from the school's hallowed walls; so too did former NFL MVP Rich Gannon, Giants OL Jon Runyan, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski, Eagles LB Jeremiah Trotter, Bears RB D'Andre Swift and Eagles QB (and Marvin Jr.'s college teammate) Kyle McCord.
