Josh Allen stats today: Inside Bills QB's crazy 6-TD day against Buccaneers, Sean Tucker in Week 11 image

Everyone knows by now how much one week can change a narrative in the NFL, but how about one or two hours?

Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen faced turnover questions in the first half of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he tossed two interceptions on the heels of a turnover-riddled Week 10 loss, but by the final whistle, he had only boosted his case for a second MVP award.

Allen accounted for six touchdowns in a 44-32 victory, ensuring the Bills keep pace with the New England Patriots in the AFC East race and avoid a fourth loss in six games.

Here's a closer look at Allen's monster day against the Buccaneers and how an unlikely Buccaneers star nearly matched him.

Allen overcame the early turnovers to throw for 317 yards and account for six total touchdowns in Sunday's victory, which saw the Bills and Buccaneers exchange the lead several times before Buffalo finally wrestled control away from Tampa Bay late in the fourth quarter. The game featured nine lead changes in total.

Allen matched his own piece of NFL history in the win by recording his second game with three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns. Just last December, Allen became the first player to ever post such a stat line against the Los Angeles Rams. He has now done twice what no one else has done once.

Here's what you need to know about how Allen's gaudy numbers translated to fantasy points.

MORE WEEK 11 NEWS:

Josh Allen fantasy points today

Allen recorded 42.68 fantasy points on Sunday, the most of any quarterback in one game this season.

Sunday remarkably marked Allen's fourth career game with at least 40 fantasy points, meaning he accounts for 11 percent of such games in the Super Bowl era.

Josh Allen highlights vs. Buccaneers

Allen hit the Euro step celebration after his first of six touchdowns.

Allen hit James Cook to give Buffalo its lead back late in the third quarter.

Allen's fifth touchdown of the day put the Bills in front again in a game with several lead changes.

Allen's sixth touchdown of the day sealed a Bills win and allowed him to match his own bit of NFL history.

With Bucky Irving, Chris Godwin and Mike Evans all still out for the Buccaneers, it was the Sean Tucker show for Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Tucker put up star-level production against the Bills, totaling 140 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns and giving the Buccaneers a chance to match Allen even as Baker Mayfield had a quiet day.

A former undrafted free agent out of Syracuse, Tucker wasn't a factor for the Buccaneers early in his second NFL season but has taken on a larger role with Irving out. Irving is nearing a return, so Tucker has stated his case to at least retain some kind of role in the offense when the backfield is healthy.
