How many people picked Bills, Panthers in NFL survivor pools? How upset losses eliminated contestants in Week 10 image

The 2025 NFL season has been one of the toughest for Survivor pools. Teams across the league have been unable to sustain momentum and it truly feels like anything can happen any given Sunday.

This has made the already tough task of a perfect NFL Survivor season even tougher. Week 10 of the NFL season was especially tough for those in Survivor pools. Many thought they had safe bets in the Buffalo Bills taking on the 2-7 Miami Dolphins and the Carolina Panthers, who had just beat the one-loss Green Bay Packers on the road in Week 10, returning home to face the one-win New Orleans Saints. Both teams lost and remaining NFL Survivor pools were devastated of active entries.

Here is more on how many NFL Survivor competitors were eliminated after upset losses by the Bills and Panthers in Week 10.

The biggest NFL Survivor pool, or at least the highest profile event, is hosted by Circa Sports. It is a hotel and Sportsbook located in Las Vegas, Nevada and their tournament has millions of dollars in prizes.

Heading into Week 10, there were only 1,769 competitors still alive in the race. 261 of them, or 14.8%, picked Buffalo to beat Miami.

How many people picked Panthers in NFL survivor pools?

Despite being a 5-4 team, the Panthers had the most support in Week 10 for Circa's survivor pool. Carolina had a few fourth-quarter comeback wins under its belt, including the walk-off field goal to beat the Packers a week ago. The Panthers returned home, where they had played better overall, and welcomed the Saints who had only one win on the season and had made a quarterback change to rookie Tyler Shough.

The Carolina team that beat Green Bay was nowhere to be seen and the middling franchise took a 17-7 loss against New Orleans.

490 of the 1,759 remaining entries, or 27.7% of the field, backed the Panthers to win and have been eliminated.

The other most popular picks in Week 10 were the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears. The Broncos had a "Thursday Night Football" win over the Las Vegas Raiders, the Seahawks face the Arizona Cardinals in the midafternoon slate on Sunday, and the Bears beat the New York Giants on Sunday. If Seattle can pull off the win over Arizona, the Bills and Panthers would be the only two teams of the top five most popular who lost in Week 10.
