Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season consists of a double dose of "Monday Night Football" action, and it begins when the Atlanta Falcons host the Buffalo Bills at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Atlanta, which one in Week 4, is coming off an early bye and enters Week 6 with a 2-2 record. Buffalo, on the other hand, is coming off its first loss of the season, losing to the New England Patriots on a last-second field goal in a primetime spot on Sunday night.

The Bills will look to use Monday night to get back on track before they're idle in Week 7.

While still early, it's a big game for both teams, as the Patriots are making the AFC East, while the Falcons are in danger of falling well behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South.

With plenty of storylines swarming, The Sporting News is tracking live updates from Monday night's primetime meeting between Buffalo and Atlanta.

Bills vs. Falcons live updates, highlights from 'Monday Night Football'

(All times Eastern.)

10:10 p.m.: At the two minute warning, Atlanta is on the Buffalo 14 yard line with a chance to ice the game.

The Bills still have three timeouts remaining.

10:06 p.m.: Penix and London connect for the first time of the second half and with just over four minutes remaining, the Falcons have their first first down of the half.

10:04 p.m.: The Penix-Robinson connection is active for the second time of the drive, with Robinson running a wheel route down the right for 23 yards.

Robinson was left wide open by the Buffalo defense and the Falcons are across midfield.

9:57 p.m.: Ever since the first drive of the third quarter, Allen and the Bills offense has not been able to move the ball.

Here, three plays — a zero-yard sack, a zero-yard completion and an incompletion — is all it takes for Buffalo to punt again for the sixth time tonight.

9:54 p.m.: The Falcons offense gives the ball right back. Robinson had two carries to make it a 3rd & short, and on the play Penix tries hitting London but it falls incomplete.

Atlanta punts right back and it's returned to the 33 yard line. With 8:30 remaining, Allen and the Bills offense have a chance to tie the game.

9:49 p.m.: The Bills are not able to convert on 3rd & choice, with Allen attempting an end-around to Elijah Moore, but Moore fumbles the hand off and is forced to fall down.

With 10:17 remaining, the Falcons have the ball back.

9:43 p.m.: After getting inside the 20, the Falcons can't move the ball further.

With a chance to make the lead two scores, Parker Romo has a 37-yard field goal blocked by the Bills special teams unit.

The Bills take over still down seven.

9:41 p.m.: Robinson has done most of his work on the ground tonight, but this time, he does it through the air.

The Falcons draw up a left side screen pass for the star back, who takes it for 20 yards to the Buffalo 17 after evading tackles.

9:39 p.m.: The Bills had a chance to get a crucial stop on 3rd &14, but a pass interference penalty on Christian Brentford keeps the drive moving.

Atlanta is now right outside the Buffalo 30.

End of the third quarter: Falcons 21, Bills 14

9:35 p.m.: Robinson continues his stellar game with an 11-yard carry to open up the drive. 

The running back is up to 157 yards tonight as the clock expires in the third quarter.

We go to the fourth with the Falcons leading.

9:31 p.m.: Right ahead midfield, Buffalo decides to go for it on fourth down.

It's an Allen scramble to the left with receivers in front of him, and he tries flipping it to a receiver. But, it falls short.

Atlanta takes over on downs with the score still 21-14.

9:28 p.m: Facing a 3rd & 4, another defensive holding call on Atlanta keeps the drive moving for the Bills.

Though, Allen gets sacked on the next play and it's 2nd & 18 for the Bills on the 38.

9:20 p.m.: On first down, Penix gets sacked for the first time of the second half, with Ed Oliver getting to the quarterback for a -13 yard loss.

Penix connects with Pitts for 10 yards right after. On third down, Penix tries to find London on a deep crosser, but it falls incomplete.

The Bills defense gets a stop to start the first half, and now Allen and co. get the ball back after scoring on the previous drive.

Falcons 21, Bills 14

9:13 p.m. TOUCHDOWN: The Bills open up the second half the same way they do the first.

On a similar play to what Buffalo ran a minute ago, Allen hits Davis coming out of the backfield on a bootleg. With space, Davis dives to the end zone to score from 16 yards away.

The lead is back to seven.

9:11 p.m.: Buffalo converts on its first third down of the second half, with Allen hitting Ray Davis right in front of the line to gain.

The Bills were 1-for-5 on third down in the first half.

9:09 p.m.: Buffalo is across midfield on its first drive of the second half. Two Cook carries followed by a nine-yard completion from Allen to Shakir has the Bills on the Falcons 49.

9:07 p.m.: The second half has kicked off in Atlanta.

Buffalo has the ball first down two scores.

8:57 p.m.: At halftime, it's been a tale of two offenses.

Starting with Atlanta, which has been clicking on all cylinders. Penix is 12-for-19 for 171 yards and a touchdown; 147 of those yards have went to London, who has nine receptions at half. Robinson has 138 yards rushing, which includes the 81-yard score.

Buffalo has struggled since the opening drive that it scored on. Allen is 5-for-12 for 98 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Cook, who is known for being one of the most prolific players in the league, only has 30 rushing yards on seven carries.

The Bills have also dealt with injuries to Bernard, Josh Palmer, Connor McGovern and others.

Halftime: Falcons 21, Bills 7

8:53 p.m.: If Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London didn't let America knew how dynamic of a duo they can be, the final play of the first half provided one more reminder.

With six seconds left, the two connect again and London finds space, running the ball in for what looks like a touchdown on the final play. But, the replay showed London's foot was out of bounds, meaning the Falcons don't add on points at the end of the half.

While London is over 100 receiving yards on the night, the score is 21-7 at halftime.

8:47 p.m.: The Atlanta defense continues to cause fits for Allen, who throws an interception over the middle of the field to Dee Alford. 

It's Allen's third interception of the season.

8:44 p.m.: The Falcons do not extend the lead before halftime. Two Penix incomplete passes set up a 3rd & 10, then Morris opts to run it. 

Though, there is an injury on the play, with Buffalo's Terrell Bernard going down on the play.

8:42 p.m.: Robinson breaks loose again on a stretch run to the left, gaining five yards for another Atlanta first down.

8:40 p.m.: Up 14, the Falcons have a chance to extend the lead with 1:12 remaining in the first half.

8:26 p.m.: Once again, Penix and London connect deep, this time for 26 yards, and the Falcons are by midfield.

8:24 p.m.: The Falcons were pinned deep in their own territory, and on a 3rd & short snap the ball directly to tight end Felipe Franks who lunges forward in the pile for a first down.

8:20 p.m.: After starting the game with a touchdown, Allen and the Bills offense has cooled off.

When facing a 3rd & 3, Allen can't connect with a receiver, and Buffalo has to punt for the third straight time. Atlanta is up 14 and has the call, with Buffalo needing a stop.

Falcons 21, Bills 7

8:13 p.m. TOUCHDOWN: Bijan Robinson is one of the NFL's most electric players, and he just showed why. On a second down run, Robinson finds space on a stretch to the right and breaks into the clear, bringing it 81 yards to the end zone.

It was the longest run of Robinson's career, and the Falcons now lead 21-7

8:10 p.m.: Buffalo was unable to move the ball after getting across midfield. On third down, Allen gets swarmed on a blitz and is brought down for -15 yards, and the Bills punt for the second straight drive.

Atlanta takes back over up 14-7.

8:01 p.m.: This time, Allen and Shakir connect on a 3rd & 10 inside their own territory. Allen hits Shakir on a curl route then the wide receiver makes a defender miss as he gets across the line to gain, moving the chains for Buffalo.

End of the first quarter: Falcons 14, Bills 7

7:58 p.m.: After one quarter, Atlanta leads by seven. 

The Falcons have 128 yards on three offensive drives, with the previous touchdown to London being the difference so far in the game.

7:53 p.m. TOUCHDOWN: Drake London has been unstoppable this game. Here, with the Falcons facing a 3rd & goal, Penix connects again with him at the one-yard line and London reaches across the goal line to make it 14-7.

The fourth-year wide receiver has five catches for 64 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter.

7:51 p.m.: On a 3rd & 7, Penix finds London for the third time tonight. London ran a curl route to the similar spot of his first reception. This time, it was a 20-yard reception.

The next play, Robinson has his biggest play of the game so far, rushing for 22 yards down to the Bills nine-yard line.

7:48 p.m.: Facing a third down, Penix tried finding tight end Kyle Pitts on the left sideline. Though it went incomplete, a pass interference call on Tre'Davious White keeps the drive going.

7:42 p.m.: The Bills were facing a 3rd & 10, and it looked like Allen completed a pass to Khalil Shakir on the right sideline for a first down.

But, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris challenged it and the call was overturned. So, after the teams exchange touchdowns, they exchange punts.

7:37 p.m.: The Falcons are unable to pick up a first down on their second drive and punt back to Buffalo.

Penix targeted London twice, once for a reception and once an incompletion, before he was brought down for a sack on third down.

Bills 7, Falcons 7

7:30 p.m. TOUCHDOWN: After the Falcons opened the game with a touchdown, Buffalo responds on its opening drive.

The Bills were facing a 3rd & 13 in the red zone, and Allen finds Dawson Knox over the middle for a 19-yard touchdown after the offensive line gave Allen good protection.

It's now 7-7 in Atlanta.

7:26 p.m.: An Allen eight-yard scramble has the Bills inside the 20.

7:25 p.m.: Josh Allen delivers a deep strike on the Bills' first play from scrimmage, with the quarterback finding Josh Palmer downfield for 46 yards. The Bills are inside the Atlanta 30 after one play.

Falcons 7, Bills 0

7:20 p.m. TOUCHDOWN: Atlanta draws first blood on the first drive.

Right outside of the red zone, it's Tyler Allgeier who takes his first handoff of the year to the left side, where he runs into the end zone for a 21-yard touchdown.

The Falcons open up the game with a five-play, 69-yard scoring drive that lasted 2:45.

7:18 p.m.: There's already action on the first play from scrimmage, with Bijan Robinson fumbling the handoff and Buffalo recovering in what seams to be opponent territory. But, an offsides penalty on Buffalo's Greg Rousseau cancels out the play.

On his first pass attempt, Penix hits Drake London on the left side of the field for 23 yards and the Falcons are across midfield.

7:16 p.m.: Buffalo has kicked off and we are underway in Atlanta.

7:09 p.m.: Only a few minutes remain until the first kickoff of the night, and both the Bills are looking to keep pace in their divisions with a win.

Buffalo remains in first place in the AFC East with a win while Atlanta would remain in second place behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

6:58 p.m.: We are less than 30 minutes away from kickoff and both quarterbacks are ready.

6:37 p.m.: Teams have taken the field for warmups, and Josh Allen and the Bills are ready.

6:32 p.m.: It's a nice day in Atlanta, and the roof at Mercedes Benz Stadium is open.

6:20 p.m.: Both teams have listed their inactives for tonight. For Buffalo, the most notable is Kincaid.

The Falcons will be down two wide receivers in Darnell Mooney and RayRay McCloud III.

6:00 p.m.: Both teams are on site, including 2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen.

Allen, who has 1,217 passing yards and 12 total touchdowns on the year looks to get Buffalo its fifth win of the season. 

5:44 p.m.: While the teams have not announced their inactives, ESPN's Adam Schefter says Buffalo will be without tight end Dalton Kincaid.

5:38 p.m.: The Falcons are starting to arrive, and for a primetime matchup are bringing out some classic uniforms.

Tonight, Atlanta will wear their throwback uniforms with red helmets. Buffalo is also wearing throwback uniforms, bringing out the white helmet for the first time this year.
