The NFL is upon us once again, with America's sport preparing for yet another season of action.
The Philadelphia Eagles will look to defend their title after winning the 2025 Super Bowl in emphatic fashion, but there will be plenty of squads seeking to claim the championship for themselves.
Among the defending champs is one star Aussie, with plenty more scattered across the league ready to make their mark.
Every Aussie suiting up for NFL 2024-25 season
It will be a smaller group of Australians in the NFL this season - punters Mitch Wishnowsky and Cameron Johnston were both waived by their respective teams, as were up-and-comers Laki Tasi and Jordan Petaia.
However, there is still plenty of talent from Down Under ready to tear up the league.
Jordan Mailata
Fresh off of becoming the first Australian to play in a winning Super Bowl side, Jordan Mailata is ready to defend his title alongside his Philadelphia Eagles teammates.
With quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley fit and firing, Mailata and the Eagles offensive line will have their work cut out for them once more as the reigning champs continue to roll out their run-heavy scheme.
Daniel Faalele
Another elite Australian offensive tackle, Daniel Faalele is preparing for another deep run with the Baltimore Ravens.
He will continue to help the game of MVP contender Lamar Jackson, as Baltimore look to finally get over the hump and play for a Super Bowl ring.
Michael Dickson
At this point, Dickson is a veteran for Seattle, their first-choice punter since they drafted him in 2018.
The former All-Pro will once again suit up for the Seahawks this season, as they move into a new stage under fresh quarterback Sam Darnold.
Tory Taylor
After an up-and-down rookie season for Chicago, Tory Taylor will look to improve his efforts in year two.
As the Bears enter the Ben Johnson era, Taylor will hope to impress with his massive boot, with Chicago looking to revamp things across the roster.
